Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
I’ll keep this short, because there’s almost nothing to tell you. Drift doesn’t collect your data. No account, no login, no tracking, no analytics. I don’t know who you are, and I like it that way.
What Drift collects
Nothing. There’s no sign-up, no profile, no email required to use the app. Drift doesn’t gather your name, location, contacts, usage habits, or any personal information at all.
What stays on your device
Drift remembers two things locally on your phone: whether you’ve unlocked the app, and a little setup flag. That’s it. This information never leaves your device and is never sent to me or anyone else.
Analytics and tracking
There aren’t any. Drift has no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party tracking of any kind. Nothing about how you use the app is recorded or transmitted.
Purchases
When you unlock Drift for $9.99, Apple handles the entire transaction. I never see or store your payment details. That purchase is processed by Apple and is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy, not this one.
Children
Drift is safe for anyone to use, since it collects nothing from anyone, regardless of age.
Changes to this policy
If this ever changes, I’ll update this page. But given that “we collect nothing” is kind of the whole point, don’t expect much.
